I've been watching quite a few documentaries like this lately. This one is also fine. History is told through wars, disasters and pandemics. It turns out that we have had quite a few of these, often with major impacts on history and the development and fall of civilizations. The whole thing is narrated by Professor Alice Roberts, who does this in a calm, clear and sympathetic manner. If you're into history, a lot is already quite known, but there were also a few very surprising things and it turns out that some events had different reasons and causes than I thought. This is another one of those series that I really learned something from. And with a nice presenter and beautiful images. A lot is re-enacted and the necessary attention has also been put into it. It all looks fine. I wonder if this will be continued. I'm allowed!
