Dark Matter is een Canadese sciencefictionserie van de zender Space (en Syfy in de VS). De serie ging in première op 12 juli 2015.

The series has been canceled. So there will be no 4th season!

My boyfriend and I are quite behind on the series. Does it still make sense to continue (or actually I ask: does the series end with a big open ending)?

I don't follow the series anymore, but when I read the comments on other forums it is open-ended.

Yes, that was indeed a pity. This series deserved a good ending. Although it was with a short final season in which the storylines are neatly tied off. Unfortunately that never happened. The strange thing is that Killjoys was then continued. I still don't understand why this one and not this one.

Syfy will broadcast it from June 16, 2015. So it will probably premiere on June 12th and not July 12th.

I thought it was a mediocre series with a mediocre story and mediocre special effects. As an SF enthusiast, it's great that there was no sequel.

Light-hearted sci-fi series Not really high-quality acting. definitely better than killjoys as I said "Breezy" for in between. :))

Considering that SyFy cancels its series even faster if I switch boxer shorts, it seems a pretty clear story to me that this series will not see the light for long. After the first 3 episodes, the story does not catch you at all. The series would bring a lot more viewers if they would go off the ship once (and not a few flashes like in the 2nd episode). A kind of Stargate-like series in which they would encounter the most diverse things on the ship and also on the different planets. The whole "someone sabotages everything" story really gets boring very quickly, partly because the dialogues are also just bad. The acting is mediocre. I really only know "Four" from Continuum, and none of that was very high either. Too bad, the series can really have potential. However, I think it will stick to one season and maybe SyFy will take it off the tube sooner.

Okay, episode 5 and I give up. Two men who are going to fight for 1 girl again, cliché and zombies? Come on, is there anyone still watching this? Very mediocre acting. That the guy from Stargate Atlantis (there he played Rodney Mckay) let himself be glued to this. Im Out

I do hope that the belly button is occasionally replaced by something else ... a bit of stereotyping ... but it intrigues me ..... how and what and stuff ....
