De Kip en het ei

De Kip en het ei is a Dutch comedy series which aired on Tros. The series premiered on February 13, 1985.

Father Rinus (Piet Römer) lives in the house of his son Harry (Peter Römer) and daughter-in-law Thea (Karin Bloemen). Both men work as police officers at the same police station, where Chief Ab (Joop Doderer) is in charge, and although they regularly get into each other's hair, they certainly cannot live without each other. The daily routine is regularly interrupted when Florry (Andrea Domburg), Thea's mother, comes to visit.
