Everyone knows, you shouldn't mess with masterpieces. Michael Jackson's feats? Just keep your hands off your 90's alt-rock fire! Nike Air Jordan I's in neon yellow with a cobalt blue swoosh? Have you ever seen the inventor of contemporary basketball flying across the laminate in those colors? No? Then cut it! With this in mind, in addition to euphoria, there was also some reticence and skepticism (Yes, I can experience all those emotions at the same time, yes.) when FX announced that it was going to make a series of one of the coolest films of the years ninety: Fargo. Things calmed down somewhat when it turned out that the Coen brothers would also pick up the pen themselves for a number of episodes and that Billy Bob Thornton had put his worn-out head at the disposal of Fargo to make a series to die for. Normally I only react to series after watching a whole season, because it has happened more than once that things go off like a candle after a masterful start, but Fargo… Fargo? Damn, Fargo! You can feel it from the first shot. The pace, the calm, the music, the extremely careful way in which everything is portrayed and then they also cycle in a cast, whose names would not look out of place on any movie poster. This can't help but become a series that will immediately settle into my Top 10 series. I can say that with dry eyes, because of course I decide all that myself. So.

I haven't finished watching season 4. For me, it broke too much with the foundations of Fargo by having it take place in the city and not in the snowy countryside of Minnesota. And there were a few more things that I didn't really think fit Fargo. But I have now seen some teasers of season 5 and it looks promising. I think I'll watch this season again. Hurrah! Fortunately, season 5 is old-fashioned Fargo again. They're back in Minnesota. The term "Minnesota Nice" is even explained before the first episode begins. And I must say that this story is also interesting. There are some nice weird characters and people with secrets. There is also a lot of humor, but violence is not avoided either. And look at John Hamm as one of the worst law officers ever. Yes, this promises to be another very nice season. I'm glad the producers have changed their minds after the terrible fourth season.

Funny how the reactions differ. I think season 1 is strong, season 2 is a bit disappointing (UFOs? - well) and season 3 is very good again. With a lesser episode that makes a failed attempt to copy Twin Peaks. Prim's acting, especially David Thewlis as Varga scores points. Ewan with his double role is also good, as are most of the others by the way.

it's a dryly funny crime series. The humor must suit you. When you have seen the film you understand the atmosphere a bit more. It's not slapstick thigh chatting, but it's not a deadly serious series either. Homor with a serious look. You should be able to capture that just a bit ... And if that succeeded, then enjoy it ...

Ha Alex, the series is just separate from the movie. The same kind of characters and vibe, but you can easily put the eating stones in it without watching the movie. I would too and quickly a little. For me, together with True Detective and Arvingerne, already one of the gems of 2014
