Ófærd is een IJslandse misdaadserie van de zender Netflix (voorheen RUV). De serie ging in première op 27 december 2015.
Trapped volgt in het eerste seizoen het moordonderzoek dat begint wanneer een onherkenbare man aangetroffen wordt in het water als een internationale ferry aanmeert in een klein stadje aan de voet van een fjord. Kort daarna, verwoest een krachtige bliksem de enige weg die er is om het stadje in of uit te komen.
In het tweede seizoen steekt een IJslandse schapenboer zich voor het regeringsgebouw in brand en probeert de minister van Economische Zaken te vermoorden. Het onderzoek leidt politiechef Andri Olafssun naar een afgelegen vallei in het noorden, waar boeren een conflict met internationale zakenlieden uitvechten.

I thought this was a very nice series to watch. The second season even better than the first and that wasn't just because season 1 takes place completely in the snow! Tension to the last and especially the whodunit? was well built up to the end. Incidentally, Dar Salim plays a role in the 2nd season and I also know the mayor from other series, but I don't remember which one ...

Great series. Beautiful characters. Bit too long 10 episodes. Shortening it would also have made it a bit more interesting

Until about end 7 very interesting to watch, then I got a bit tired. It all took a little too long. And then those names! When they talked about someone I kept thinking "who was that again?" If you watch the series consecutively (Netflix) it might be easy, but with an afl per day it is really not easy. The force of nature is dramatic and I am always happy that I do not live there! Still it is a must to watch, a good Scandinavian thriller but slightly different and with very good players!

Season 2 starts off so cliché, it's no fun anymore. In the real world we continuously have attacks from Muslims, but let's not let that happen in series. No, we're just doing another story about the extreme right in Iceland .... Sigh

If you like Scandinavian thrillers then you can watch this one, only what I always have with such series is that everyone there seems depressed .... bit strange or will it be because of the weather

It is listed separately on Netflix, but here it is included in this series as season 3.

Thanks for your comment. I think so too, but Entrapped consists of 6 episodes and on Netflix season 3 indicates 8.

I suspect that Netflix has the episodes in a different time period, because I also see 8 episodes on both IMDB and TVDB.
