A bit of a strange series, which cannot be placed directly in one category. 6 (ultimately 7) people are found naked and dirty at night in a village cemetery. None of them initially know who they are or how they got there, but little by little, their memories come back. Among them the wife of the officer who finds them in the cemetery who died of cancer 2 years earlier, the first mayor of the village (died 1864), a woman who was murdered in the late 1980s; a woman who died with her daughter in a car accident in the 1960s, an Italian prisoner of war who died in the 1940s, a man buried in a pit at the edge of the cemetery around 1830, and a WWI war hero. However, don't expect "zombie-like" situations (fortunately, as far as I'm concerned), but a story of people looking for their past or wanting their life back as it was before they died. That life just went on after their death doesn't make things any easier. The end of the first season, which consists of 6 episodes, is somewhat surprising but also leaves a lot of things unanswered although you still get an idea of which direction they want to take the next season. Despite the fact that it remains quite interesting, there are, at least for me, a few downsides. Not only is everyone who comes back to life in the same or better condition than when they died, but that almost 200 years after he died, someone who is not surprised at what the world will look like in 2015 is to say the least curious. . I also found the fact that at the beginning of the series the agent does not recognize his own wife, even though she is covered in mud, a bit strange.

Just watched the first episode (via Netflix) and was on the edge of my seat. It was exciting! I am very curious if they can keep the tension going. I hope the story isn't going in the unlikely direction. Okay, there are a few things that I have questions about, such as the fact mentioned earlier by CC11 that no one from the (distant) past thinks the present tense is strange. Cell phone, blood pressure monitor, car, slot machines, etc. Perhaps take that with a grain of salt unless there is an explanation why this is the case. Sometimes you already feel the story coming, cop meets his dead wife and you know that he is with her best friend (?) And having a child. Then I can already see the mood for the coming episodes. Unless the makers surprise me! Anyway, 5 more episodes to go and for now I'm looking forward to watching the vlgd episode!

Am now watching the 1st EP. Reminds me a lot of series like Resurrection and The 4400 (Only there they would not have come back from the dead) and I believe there was also a series called The Returned, but I never saw it. It's exciting so far. Ff look further :)
