Notorious criminal Frank Griffin and his gang of outlaws are on a mission of revenge against Roy Goode, a son-like protégé who betrayed the brotherhood. While on the run, Roy seeks refuge with hardened widower Alice Fletcher, an outcast herself, in a worn-down, isolated mining town of La Belle, NM — governed mainly by women. When word reaches La Belle that Griffin is headed their way, the town bands together to defend against the murderous gang in a lawless western frontier.

Wonderful western that again cannot compete with deadwood .. the characters do not all have the charisma and are not explored by the fact that this is a miniseries (7 episodes) and is already lifting deadwood to unprecedented heights in my opinion .. and jane of course! ! When I mention those names I get deadwood hungry again haha Godless could have lasted longer too .. a western topper !!

Great start! Beautiful setting, some very strong characters. 2/3 great episodes first episodes! Here you want to see more ban! How does this end? Then a raging grit in the middle with boring "side stories" and then you feel it coming slowly.. that last episode.. those last scenes that will deliver, right? Sounds like a real western so damn it... Man man man and then what a wonderful ending. Totally worth the wait, and the series actually builds up nicely. Despite the 3/4 boring episodes, a big 8 from me!
