De serie volgt Pernell Harris. Harris is een machtige rechter die ineenstort na een verkrachting die zijn familie uiteen gerukt heeft. Hij raakt vast besloten om het recht te laten zegevieren. Hij stelt dan ook alles in werking om de daders voor het gerecht te brengen. Zonder enig echt bewijs, begint Pernell zich te baseren op boodschappen van God. Pernell begint te geloven dat God boodschappen overbrengt via zijn zoon, die in een coma ligt.

Hand Of God. Not a series about that little Argentinian dribble gnome who managed to tap the ball behind goalkeeper Peter Shilton with his left hand in the legendary quarterfinals of 't WK'86, but a new piece of art from Amazon with the most characteristic tronie from series land in the lead role. . Films have the worn-out faces of Mickey Rourke and Danny Trejo, in music they have been doing it for decades with Iggy Pop and the gigantic head of Ron Perlman is now re-emerging in a new series panel. Hand Of God is not immediately a huge brain teaser, but it is certainly not the pre-chewed lukewarm mess that many other stations think they can get away with. Anyone who is not too lazy to sit down and have a good time will enjoy this one. Solid acting, raw vibe, clear story, cliffhanger that leaves room for more and after that one time appearance in The Wire finally some series time for Erykah Badu. Modest series time, but still… Erykah Badu. Enough to like (laaijkun) seems to me. You're welcome.
