I have read the books and think this film adaptation is fantastic. They really make the book come to life. I had to get used to the girl who plays Lyra (she didn't quite match how I imagined her in the book) but she's doing really well. You really see her grow in the role. The special effects are great. And also a shoutout to the intro. It is really Game of Thrones level. I am very curious about season two.

HBO is leaving Ziggo. So binge-watched the series. Really top series. Can't wait for season 3.

Calm but beautiful series. The CGI was excellent, especially how realistic the dæmons were. The story was largely well put together. Occasionally a bit lethargic but otherwise not boring. I haven't read the books either, but the series was still easy to follow.
