Legend of the Seeker is een Amerikaanse fantasieserie van de zender ABC. De serie ging in première op 1 november 2008.
Legend of the Seeker is een fantasy serie in de stijl van films als Lord of the Rings en Eragon. De serie draait om een jongeman die als gids werkzaam is in een bos, en die plotseling verandert in een magisch leider die zich aansluit bij een mysterieuze vrouw genaamd Kahlan om een bloeddorstige, sinistere tiran te stoppen. Het verhaal vindt plaats in de wereld die auteur Terry Goodkind heeft gecreëerd in de boeken van Het Zwaard van de Waarheid. De wereld is in drie stukken verdeeld: Westland, Het Middenland en D'Hara. Westland is gescheiden van Het Middenland door een magische grens, die was gemaakt om het Westland te beschermen tegen magie. Aan de andere kant van Het Middenland ligt D'Hara, een rijk dat wordt geregeerd door Darken Rahl, een machtig man.
