Mafiosa gaat over een vrouw die op een gruwelijke wijze aan de top van de maffia komt.
Op het Franse eiland Corsica wordt François door onbekenden onder vuur genomen. Hij sterft in de armen van zijn favoriete nichtje, de jonge advocate Sandra (Hélène Fillières). Series 1 I didn't like, messy, unclear, you fall somewhere in the middle: as if you are not watching part 1 of season 1 but part 6 of season 3 or something. Season 2 is very different (a lot has changed to keep and attract viewers, there was too much criticism of season 1 which caused many viewers to drop). Then it gets a lot better, although it remains unbelievable that everyone can constantly kill people everywhere and in every way. I have just finished the first season and can not say that I am very enthusiastic. It is a mess with a series of illogical events or things that you have to take for granted while there is no other reasonable explanation for it. It is also a mystery to me why the makers absolutely wanted to involve the DEA in this series because it will be the worst that some drug trafficker is going to do business with the mafia in Corsica as long as they do not try to export their junk to America. , let alone start an action somewhere in the mountains. No, as far as I am concerned the first season is certainly not a topper but rather mediocre.
