Murder of a General

Murder of a General is an Italian documentary which is aired on Canale 5. The series premiered on September 10, 2007.

General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa gets killed along with his young wife and one of his bodyguards in an assasination on September 3, 1982. This documentary tells the story of the general who was sent to Sicily in 1982 to tackle the rising mafia. The Corleone Mafia is extremely violent and rapidly expanding its power base. Dalla Chiesa is a formidable opponent, but gets bested by the mafia, leading to his death.
