Een crime-drama, gesitueerd in de East End van Londen in 1889, tijdens de nadagen van de "Ripper" moorden. Super good series, finally got the subtitles from season 3. Season 1 & 2 was "binge watching" for me ... !! Great costumes too. And all characters play at their best. English actors can do something about it. This is real TV, man.

Very good series. with strong character roles Something different than the average American series. Characters clearly have their own characters and interact well with each other. There is also a good common thread through the story. Hope this series gets a sequel.

Yeah, it's a cool series with a good story with strong characters and very good acting performances, too bad that kind of series are ended instead of those bout shows like The Voice and Britain's got Bullshit ... That says something about average viewers ..

What a fantastic series. I've never given a 10 before, but this is the first. I couldn't fault it anywhere. A beautiful story (largely based on the truth), fantastic actors, beautiful clothes and then those old city images. Everything seemed real, as if you came right back to the past. Checked everything in 3 days. Too bad it's over. Recommended.

Canceled after 2 seasons????It's a shame, just like Copper I thought this was a nice take on stories from the 19th century.Not enough ratings.......is everyone watching "The Voice or something and Britain's got Talent. "Lack of general development" I call it when such series like this do not get enough ratings.

The first two episodes of season 3 have not disappointed me so far. Episode one offered a strong reintroduction of the characters with an overwhelming case, while the second episode had a ton of character moments and answered many questions that have been going on since season one.
