The Moon that Embraces the Sun is a South-Korean mini-series which aired on MBC. The series premiered on January 4, 2012.

This historical fiction drama tells the love story between the young King Lee-hwon and a female shaman, Yeon Woo. She is born to a rich and noble family, and is betrothed to the crown prince, becoming the crown princess. But after she loses her memory, she becomes a shaman. The drama is based on the novel written by Jung Eun-kwol.
