The Rain is een Deense sciencefiction thrillerserie van de zender Netflix. De serie ging in première op 4 mei 2018.
In The Rain is door een biologische catastrofe de wereld verwoest. Door een virus is bijna de gehele Scandinavische bevolking uitgeroeid. Er zijn wel overlevenden. In The Rain wordt met name een jonge groep overlevenden gevolgd. Een broer en zus sluiten zich bij deze groep aan en samen gaan ze op zoek naar een betere wereld waar ze een nieuw leven kunnen opbouwen.

Um .. Who should have got that thing out then? It's a bit difficult to find an orthodontist when the whole country is fucked up. I think that bracket is one of the things that makes the series a bit more credible. That Simone who had to protect her brother but hardly shows any emotions when her brother is injured or suddenly turns out to be gone .. That is a bit of a shame.
