Huey moves with his brother Riley and grandfather Robert from raw Chicago to a sleeping (largely) white suburb where people still say “Good morning, neighbor” to each other when they come to pick up the newspaper from the driveway in their bathrobes. It seems to me needless to say that there is a small clash of cultures. In 'The Boondocks', just like in 'South Park', current affairs are often touched upon in a painfully funny way. Bobby beating up Whitney, Iraq veterans with some pent-up issues, R Kelly on trial for not being able to suppress the urge to completely piss 16-year-old girls under, it's all there. It's Eddie Murphy when he still rocked Raw in his purple leather pants. It's Katt Williams' entire vocabulary squeezed into 20 minutes at a time. Dave Chappelle dressed as a cartoon character. It's black comedy and you gotta love that. So when you hear the word “Njigggggggahhh!” bad pulls. Do not look. If you're trying to make a point with the Sideways about the fact that women should no longer be seen as objects. Do not look. If you think that a text like: “Tom's greatest fear was being sent to prison and anally raped” does not belong in a cartoon. Do not look. If things like that don't bother you, then watch it and add a few Youtube's Lisa Lampanelli to the back for fun.
