As Peaky Blinders compares to Boardwalk Empire and as the Shameless version of the British compares to the guys in The Promised Land, you can see The Smoke compared to Chicago Fire. Not necessarily better, but a bit more sober, rawer and more British. I find then. As far as I'm concerned, another nice English viewer like Top Boy, Love/Hate (Irish) and Luther.
