Tour of Duty is een Amerikaanse oorlogsserie van de zender CBS. De serie ging in première op 24 september 1987.
Tour of Duty speelt zich af tijdens de oorlog in Vietnam. In de serie volgen we het Bravo team op hun missies tegen de Vietcong en zien we hoe ze met elkaar omgaan. De serie was vernieuwend omdat het in tegenstelling tot veel andere films en series ook regelmatig ernstige verwondingen en doden toonde. Ook kwamen sociale problemen als racisme, zelfmoord, terrorisme, oorlogsmisdaden en drugsgebruik aan bod.

Tour of Duty, piece of youth sentiment, in the evening this was on Veronica, was always watching with my father. Bought the DVD box a few years ago and watched it again, it still remains as a series!

I dare to include "The Pacific" in this list ;-) It's a shame that Tour of Duty was released on DVD in such a lousy way. That is, without the original music. A version with that fantastic music from the Vietnam period was later released, but it is hardly to be found anymore and if you do find it, it is shyly expensive.
