Une Amie Dévouée is inspired by true events and follows Christelle 'Chris' Blandin, a Parisian captivated by rock music. After the horrifying terrorist attacks of November 13, 2015, she clings to a community of victims and survivors. Chris claims that her best friend Vincent was one of the dozens seriously injured at the Bataclan theater and becomes indispensable to the group, eventually finding her way to a prominent role in the survivors' association. While her dedication seems unwavering, contradictions begin to emerge in her story—raising serious doubts among the real victims of the tragedy. The four-part miniseries, Une Amie Dévouée (The Confidante), is thought-provoking and asks what the truth really is… in the web of lies left behind by one woman.
