Have you ever seen the inventor of contemporary basketball flying across the laminate in those colors? No? Then cut it! With this in mind, in addition to euphoria, there was also some reticence and skepticism (Yes, I can experience all those emotions at the same time, yes.) when FX announced that it was going to make a series of one of the coolest films of the years ninety: Fargo. Things calmed down somewhat when it turned out that the Coen brothers would also pick up the pen themselves for a number of episodes and that Billy Bob Thornton had put his worn-out head at the disposal of Fargo to make a series to die for. Normally I only react to series after watching a whole season, because it has happened more than once that things go off like a candle after a masterful start, but Fargo… Fargo? Damn, Fargo! You can feel it from the first shot. The pace, the calm, the music, the extremely careful way in which everything is portrayed and then they also cycle in a cast, whose names would not look out of place on any movie poster.
